Happy June 2018!!! Meaning It's Father's Day and the first day of summer. With that said, I wish all the father's a Happy Father's Day! Let's say a huge hello to June of 2018!!! I can't believe that good old summer is here. What's been going!?!? I'm writing a NEW BOOK, with hopes to be fished by this fall. I'm also getting ready for a huge road trip to Las Vegas for the mobworld summit, seeing family and friends. Wishing you all the very best in June. Enjoy the sweet start of summertime!
Yesterday, I did a fun Q&A sit down with A Mafia Romance blog on facebook and I wanted to share my answers with all of you. AMR: What prompted you to consider writing in the Mafia genre as opposed to other genres? Alexandra: I have to say that I grew up in Las Vegas. I'm a Vegas girl at heart. My family has been living in Las Vegas since 1956. I grew with tails about the Mafia my grandma best friend owns a clock shop next to the gold rush that was own by none other than the Las Vegas Mafia boss Tony Spilotro. I was really got into the Mafia after I watch the movie CASINO that has Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, and Sharon Stone. I was inspired by the affair of Joe Pesci, and Sharon Stone's characters, sitting there watching the movie, wondering what if... If they were star-cross lover's? That how I got into the Mafia genre. I also was handed a once in a lifetime opportunity with Frank Cuttolla who was Tony Spilotro' Best Friend and right-hand man back in the day's when Spilotor ruled Las Vegas. ***Note to the reader's Joe Pesic' character in Casino is base on Tony Spilotor AMR: Who is your favorite in Timeless Omerta? Why? Alexandra: I really feel Victor pain about not flowing in his father, Tony's footsteps in the underworld but life has other plans for him. How he always loved Adrian who was the daughter of Evelyn, his father's lover. I really enjoy writing his parts. AMR: In Pit Boss, Ricky is portrayed as a pit boss but in reality, he is head of Italian Mafia family. We don't see this angle for a “Boss” very much in the Mafia genre. Why a pit boss? Alexandra: To find out this answer, you'll have to read the book! ;) AMR: What do you want readers to know about you as an author? Alexandra: I was born with cerebral palsy. I always tell people that I may have CP but CP doesn't have me. I also a hopeless romantic, that have been writing since I can remember. When I was fourteen I got my own computer that wasn't for school work so I was always on it writing short stories and all of that. Now I am working on bettering my writing style using colorful, picturesque words. I want to do much better. AMR: I understand you have an interesting family history. Tell us about it. Alexandra: Oh yes, I do (but they are not my biological family) To me they are my family. I've met Frank Cuttolla at The Mob Museum and he took me right under his wing; As he helps me with my book Timeless Omerta, (then it was called Omerta Affair.) Frank never forgot about me, while he invited me to this and that. Frank happily came to my own family parties, like my 25th birthday party. Our friendship grew into a love that's shared with an uncle and his niece. I love ya, Uncle Frank... One night that shall stay with me forever. I was at a party at the old Las Vegas's Mob Attraction in the Tropicana. That night I met someone Ronald Fino, he was ex-CIA and FBI and he was there to do a speck about his unbelievable life. To not into painful details about my person's life, Ronald was there while I need a home really badly. That was two years ago I'm happily can say that I'm apart of his wonderful family as his loving daughter. To me he is like a father that I never had, I called him my dad. My dad, Ronald Fino, has a wonderful book out about his life that he had written title The Triangle Exit that now is a documentary coming out this August of 2018... Called Mr. Undercover. Make sure to watch it because I have a bit of a part in it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boblW8t4wCI&list=PL2H7SLQIeFP2_pfttM4rN2BiKqdcG47fG ***Note to add my Dad and my Uncle Frank help out big time with the movie Casino. My Dad helps out Robert De Niro to get ready for his part in the movie and Uncle Frank Joe Pesci out for his part in the move. Uncle Frank was always on the movie set of Casino. He had told me stories about him helping out the Martin Scorsese filming the movie. I know for a woman that has cerebral palsy I do lead a fascinating life! Sometimes I wonder how did I end up living this life. AMR: How many books have you authored and what are they in order of release dates? Alexandra: I am happy to say that I have five books and one screenplay out. Timeless Omerta: With Great Beauty comes Great Danger (use to be title Omerta Affair) that came out in July 2013
Wildflower - Came out in March 2014
Pit Boss An Screenplay - Came out in May 2016
Confessions of Us - Came out in June 2016
Pit Boss An Novel - Came out in November 2016
Troop 470 - Came out in November 2016
AMR: Do you have plans to release any of your books on other platforms such as audiobook? Alexandra: You never know about me. I'm hoping too, finger cross. AMR: What releases do you have scheduled for the near future? Alexandra: Working on a few projects. I hope to get one done before October of this year, well that's my goal as of now. AMR: What hobbies do you enjoy? Alexandra: I love and enjoyed coloring, I love being outside, dancing like nobody is watching in my backyard. I'm a huge movie buff. AMR: What advice do you have for authors who are attempting to make a name for themselves in this business? Alexandra: Follow your heart and your passion to write. Get involved with other fellows authors groups via FaceBook or your local writer's group. I always am happy to answer any questions that one might have. Thank you for having me and my book on this wonderful blog all week long :) Best Wishes, Alexandra Forry
WOW, Time flys by fast when you are living a wonderful and sweet life in Williamsburg!!!
two years ago past midnight after a long flight across the USA. I first came here to live and now I don't want to live anywhere else, yeas I'm saying Williamsburg is where my heart. I so happy I had decided to move here and let me tell you all that it was last minute decision and I did not know anything about what Williamsburg has to offer. It was pure dumb luck that turns out to the BEST decide that I made for myself!
I've lived all over and I have to happily say that WILLIAMSBURG is the BEST place to live if you had a handicap!!!Because of the Arc of greater Williamsburg, our local news media is away reporters about what we are doing and now we have a special column in our local magazine about one of us with a handicap.
I have never lived in a town where they treated people like me like they do here.
I want to list the best Places and Moments over the past two years.
1. The Arc of Greater Williamsburg~ They are just an awesome group to be a part of, so many fun memories that I had with my Arc Family. They help me change the way I look at my CP and other people with a handicap.
2. Colonial Williamsburg ~ Oh I love downtown Williamsburg. It like going back in time. I recalled one amazing 4th of July, walking around, sitting in a bar having a drink with my dad, sitting on the grass and watching the fireworks goes off, I felt like I was back time witnessing the very first 4th of July in history!
3. College of William & Mary ~ Though the Arc we have a great relationship with this outstanding college, that I came to love. Going to sports games and parties!!!!!! GO TRIBE!!!!!!
4. Jamestown Settlement ~ I've always loved the move Disney's Pocahontas as a little girl. Walking around when Pocahontas walked was purely amazing. Ever thought the movie's background landscape was not 100% true. I was bum out that the waterfall in the movie was made up.
5. Busch Gardens ~ Whom can say that they have a world-class theme park that Seaworld own in their town? I'm also going to it this Sunday with my Arc gang!
6. The Watermen's Museum in Yorktown VA~ Love going there in the summertime with friends having a blast as the pretty sunset over the water.
As for the very best thing that happens was filming my Dad's move, MR. UNDERCOVER!!!!!!
I've have been to busy to post anything since Easter Sunday. I hope that each and everyone had a nice and peaceful Easter like I did. π€π£π₯ππ₯π·πΉπΈπΌπ»

At The Arc, we did something very cool, have our basketball camp at Kaplan Arena at The College of William and Marry! That was pure amazing playing basketball on a real college basketball court. I thought of my Grandma Forry. She was a HUG UNLV Runnin Rebels Basketball fan. She never missed a game when they play at home. I know that night she was smiling down at me from heaven knowing that I couldn't make a basket for all the tea in China. I've had a great time. πππ
Then I went to see the musical "Into The Woods" with my family last Thursday night. I just loved it. What a wonderful play, better the 2014 Disney movie if you asked me. I love going to see plays since I was younger but this was the very best so far. πππππ
Waiting to see the play!
On Easter, there was an announcement on Facebook that my father figure, Ronald Fino thatI'm beyond proud to call him my Dad, was the first one to be announced as a speaker at The Mob Summit in Las Vegas on June 15 to the 17.
