TV Shows that focus on woman in the Mafia

Cant wait for Omerta Affair to come out? To help make the time go by, there's two TV Show that I just loved to watch that focus on woman in the Mafia and why do woman fall for mobsters and married that lifestyle for better or for worst. It's also focuses on the daughters and granddaughters that grew up with their father or grandfather being a mobster. I highly recommend this two TV shows.

Mob Wives: Follows the lives of Renee Graziano, Karen Gravno, Drita D'Avanzo, Carla Facciolo, Ramona Rizzo, Big Ang Raiola, and Love Majewski, Theese seven women's who grew up or marry into the mafia lifestyle. Mob Wives follows their life's in Staten Island, New York but be careful its very addicting.

I Married a Mobster is more of a reality documentary that have  all kinds of woman telling their love stories with man that work for the mafia. To me their like reading a 30 minute romance novel. With Lorraine Bracco narrate the show, how can you go wrong? There was an episode called Vegas Rag Doll in season two that's base off a book by the same name. In that episode tells a story about Wendy Mazaros's life in Las Vegas and the Mafia. If only Geri Rosenthal was still alive, I bet she would had one kick ass story to tell. -Alexandra

The waped up of Good Friday Special

Hope that everyone enjoy all the interesting things that I've put up all day long! I want to let everyone to know that the editing process is going great. I just finish up Chapter three today. I've been blogging for a few days now about my book and I just love sharing all kinds of things that went in to making my book and hope that I can get it publish real soon. Before I turn in for the night I want to share a newspaper clipping that I've found browsing the internet. -Alexandra

A look at The Rosenthal's home

The Rosenthal's home

I've found a very fascinating YouTube video that shows the inside of the Rosenthal's house. If only this house could talk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2bGVnKcR9Q  -Alexandra

The Stardust

The Stardust Resort and Casino (1958-2006) was absolutely fabulous for being a gold mine to the Chicago Outfit and their grand skim. This photo of The Stardust was taken back when it was in it's heydays. The Stardust was run by Frank Rosenthal during the 1970s and early 1980s. For the movie Casino The Stardust's name was changed for legal purposes, from the Stardust to the "Tangiers Hotel and Casino" and the site was portrayed as being across the street from the Dunes, several blocks away from the actual site of the Stardust. However, snippets of the Hoagy Carmichael song, Stardust, can be heard on the soundtrack, giving a subtle hint as to the casino's true identity.
After operating continuously for 48 years. It was imploded on March 13, 2007, around 2:33 A.M. What a shame, although you can still see the famous Stardust sign at the neon museum in Las Vegas. Keep a eye out to see what I've rename The Stardust in my book! -Alexandra

It's Friday!!

It's just not any Friday, It's Good Friday! I always seem to have special days on Good Friday. I remember when I were in seven grade at school on Good Friday, great memories and a very fun day. For this Good Friday, I will share some interesting things all day long all about old Las Vegas, the Spilotro's, the Rosenthal's, and more.

First off, Take a look at this great interview that I've found all about the famous Mafia Families that still live in Las Vegas! Follow the link below the picture and read all about the children and wives that live in that lifestyle. -Alexandra

Today I found a list for the top 90 Best Mafia Romance Books. I hope that someday I will see Omerta Affair on this list http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/20862.Best_Mafia_Mob_Romance_Books
Until then cheek out these books, I know that I'm going to! -Alexandra

Tony Spilotro, Frank Cullotta, & Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal YouTube Video

This real video footage of Tony "The Ant" Spilotro, Frank Cullotta, & Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal that I've made in my spare time. The song to it is called What I've Done by Linkin Park. I've thought it's was a perfect song to all of them. The woman with the baby is Geri Rosenthal.
Somewhere I read that Tony Spilotro, Frank Cullotta, & Frank Rosenthal are like the Mafia's Three Musketeerst back when and I have to agree to that. -Alexandra

magazines help

Other then books, Internet, or old newspaper articles, I found a magazine to be a great inspiration and some insight of old Las Vegas and the Mafia. VEGAS Magazine helped with some parts of writing Omerta Affair. Not to mention reading interviews with some of my favorite Hollywood Stars of today and knowing what is happening in the Las Vegas spotlight.

Thank you so much VEGAS Magazine. I would just love it if VEGAS Magazine dose happen to do a article on Omerta Affair. -Alexandra
