Two years of living life in Wonderful Williamburg.

WOW, Time flys by fast when you are living a wonderful and sweet life in Williamsburg!!!
two years ago past midnight after a long flight across the USA. I first came here to live and now I don't want to live anywhere else, yeas I'm saying Williamsburg is where my heart. I so happy I had decided to move here and let me tell you all that it was last minute decision and I did not know anything about what Williamsburg has to offer. It was pure dumb luck that turns out to the BEST decide that I made for myself!
I've lived all over and I have to happily say that WILLIAMSBURG is the BEST place to live if you had a handicap!!!Because of the Arc of greater Williamsburg, our local news media is away reporters about what we are doing and now we have a special column in our local magazine about one of us with a handicap.
I have never lived in a town where they treated people like me like they do here.
I want to list the best Places and Moments over the past two years.

1. The Arc of Greater Williamsburg~ They are just an awesome group to be a part of, so many fun memories that I had with my Arc Family. They help me change the way I look at my CP and other people with a handicap.
2. Colonial Williamsburg ~ Oh I love downtown Williamsburg. It like going back in time. I recalled one amazing 4th of July, walking around, sitting in a bar having a drink with my dad, sitting on the grass and watching the fireworks goes off, I felt like I was back time witnessing the very first 4th of July in history!

3. College of William & Mary ~ Though the Arc we have a great relationship with this outstanding college, that I came to love. Going to sports games and parties!!!!!! GO TRIBE!!!!!!
4. Jamestown Settlement ~ I've always loved the move Disney's Pocahontas as a little girl. Walking around when Pocahontas walked was purely amazing. Ever thought the movie's background landscape was not 100% true. I was bum out that the waterfall in the movie was made up.
5. Busch Gardens ~ Whom can say that they have a world-class theme park that Seaworld own in their town? I'm also going to it this Sunday with my Arc gang!
6. The Watermen's Museum in Yorktown VA~ Love going there in the summertime with friends having a blast as the pretty sunset over the water.
As for the very best thing that happens was filming my Dad's move, MR. UNDERCOVER!!!!!!

What I'm doing since Easter!?!?!

~Me in my Easter Sunday best 4/1/2018~

I've have been to busy to post anything since Easter Sunday. I hope that each and everyone had a nice and peaceful Easter like I did. 🐤🐣🐥💐🥚🌷🌹🌸🌼🌻

That next Saturday was my birthday, I turned 28 years old! It was a very fantastic birthday with such wonderful Birthday Wishes and amazing gifts! 🎈🎂 I thank god for another year on earth with my beloved Family and Friends all over!!!! I got so many wonderfully different coloring books because they are like jewelry to me. Also, I raise some money for my Arc Chapter as a Birthday Fundraiser on Facebook. 😊😊😊

"My Beloved leader Bette-Faye with W&M Women's Basketball team"

At The Arc, we did something very cool, have our basketball camp at Kaplan Arena at The College of William and Marry! That was pure amazing playing basketball on a real college basketball court. I thought of my Grandma Forry. She was a HUG UNLV Runnin Rebels Basketball fan. She never missed a game when they play at home. I know that night she was smiling down at me from heaven knowing that I couldn't make a basket for all the tea in China. I've had a great time. 😉😉😉

Then I went to see the musical "Into The Woods" with my family last Thursday night. I just loved it. What a wonderful play, better the 2014 Disney movie if you asked me. I love going to see plays since I was younger but this was the very best so far. 🎭🎭🎭🎭🎭
Waiting to see the play!

On Easter, there was an announcement on Facebook that my father figure, Ronald Fino thatI'm beyond proud to call him my Dad, was the first one to be announced as a speaker at The Mob Summit in Las Vegas on June 15 to the 17. The best part is that I'm going with him!!!I am not planning on selling any books, Just going to have a blast!

On a FUN ending note.  I’m looking forward to my trip to Bush Gardens on May 6 with my Arc Gang!!! 🎡🎢🎠🎡🎢🎠

Happy Late CP day 2018

Today is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day and this my life story!
My umbilical cord wrapped around cutting off the air circulation to my brain. The doctors told my family that I would never even talk, walk, or live a normal life. Little did they know. I started talking out of the blue, soon I began to walk on my knees.
I used a walker and a wheelchair when I was young, until one day at a park I was sitting on the grass watching all of my cousins play and then it happens like this, I got up on two feet and walked over to play. My whole family was blown away by this, some say it was an act of god.
At first, I was enrolled at a special school for handicap kids, but then my parents took me out and I enter a normal school, where I used a walker all thru my school years because of my balance and the crowded school's hallway. While at an elementary school, I had a special desk, my teachers had to cut down my school work because I use up 3 to 5 times the amount of energy that people use without Cerebral Palsy. In middle and high school I was able to keep up with my school work and could sit in a normal school desk.
I was bullied at school, One day some boy throw a hard golf ball at the back of my head. one girl kicks the back of my chair in the middle of history class in 8th grade, just because of my cerebral palsy. Let put an end to school bullying!! Also, teacher and teacher aids were bullies to me as well. Tell me that “I can’t do anything when I grow up.” I also had a learning disability too I have four Special Ed classes in middle school. Yet I loved going to school.
Growing up with Cerebral Palsy was hard on me because people always made fun of me or people treated me like a baby. I was Homeschooled in high-school years missing all of the rites of passages. I was not happy that my parents homeschool me at all. I used to think that I was the only one with Cerebral Palsy. I was abused in every way that that is possible BUT SOMEHOW I MADE IT THROW IT, WITH THE HELP OF GOD AND MY ANGLES that gave me power and lead me to my beloved home in Williamsburg!!!
All my life I have always wanted to be an author when I grew up because I always had a story up in my head. With The help of some of my dear friend’s, I’m happy to say that I have romance books out on Amazon.com!!! It's all began on my 22 birthday, I went the newly open Mob Museum and to my shock, Frank Cuttolla was there signing his book. I meet him and told him that I want to be a Mafia-Romance and he told me that if I need help just let him know. I said okay thinking he has better things to do than helping me a young CP girl at the time. I found him on Facebook weeks later and we began to talk, he always inviting me to this and that. I base my fist book Timeless Omerta off on Tony Spilotro’s reign as the Las Vegas Mafia boss, in the 1970s. He had it all, running the Crime underworld. He could have any woman he wanted in Las Vegas, instead, he became romantically Geri Rosenthal. At first, it was a Casino FanFic that I was witting and putting online for free, but my family and friend told me it was way too good to be a fanfic. After I was done with my book Frank hooked me up with some people and that how my book came to be. Now he’s Uncle Frank to me. ❤ I have some pretty astonishing friends & family who love me for me.

Inside and finding Blessed to be Unwanted

Let's stared off with Blessed to be Unwanted book Summary

 by Author Candace Webb-Henderson!

Blessed to Be Unwanted is an inspirational account, which highlights the heroism of one woman’s love for children and humanity during and after WWII. It is a true story written by Candace Henderson, the daughter of the baby who was handed over to strangers on a street corner, at only five days old - A testament to how an unwanted child can leave a legacy by following her dreams and living her life to the fullest. In the end, love prevails through many challenges and a triumph over her fears, grief and loss – and the world is a better place because of her.
Blessed to Be Unwanted offers hope to go after life in a big way! Why live small when someone who has experienced the same feelings and discovered lots of happiness can inspire you?

Okay, my readers, it's more than a story. One day I was chatting with my cousin on my father side of the family one day and she went on to tell me this; "Have you heard of Aunt Joan? (Joni) She was a sibling that they didn't know they had until years later---I just found another cousin's Candy Webb Henderson & Connie Mitchell---they are my twin cousin's I didn't know I had either---Candy just wrote a Book also---about her Mom's story and Your Great Grandmother Iva"

If you know me at all FAMILY MEANS THE WORLD TO ME.  So I looked it up on Amazon.com and have to this because it was about my Great-Aunt and my Great-Grandma. I felt like I need to read this because I remember when I was around 15, My grandma Joyce told me that she has a sister that her mother gave away.

I got in touch with Candy and she sends me my very own copy of BLESSED TO BE UNWANTED and I've received my copy last night and when I open this book up to the page that had a picture of my own grandma as a little girl on it! I was moved to tears since she passes on in 2011 and I never got to kiss my grandma goodbye.

Looking forward to reading this book. Thank-You Candy!
